Provided is an aggregation of fibrous columnar structures which are provided on the surface of a substrate, the aggregation being configured in such a manner that the adhesion force between the substrate and the fibrous columnar structures is very large. This aggregation (10) of fibrous columnar structures is formed by providing the fibrous columnar structures (2) on the surface of a substrate (1). One end (2a) of each of the fibrous columnar structures adheres to the surface of the substrate, and the adhesion force between the fibrous columnar structure and the surface of the substrate is 25 N/cm2 or greater at 25°C.
