A ventilation system is provided to sterilize germs contained in air passing through the ventilation system by anti-bacteria action of kimchi lactic acid bacteria-fermented substances, thereby keeping room air pleasantly and preventing respiratory ailment. A ventilation system includes a case formed with air suction/discharge paths for inhaling or discharging room air and atmospheric air through intersection, a heat exchange unit received in the case for heat exchange between the room air and the atmospheric air, and a kimchi bacteria element mounted at least a position of the suction/discharge path. The heat exchange unit has a frame, a plurality of corrugation plates(24) formed in the waveform and stacked in the frame, and a kimchi lactic acid bacteria-fermented substance layers(28) formed on either or both surfaces of the corrugation plates by coating or injection-molding. A kimchi bacteria filter is additionally formed at a surface of the heat exchange unit. |
