摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode for lithium ion secondary battery having means for preventing electrocrystallization of lithium on an electrode surface and minute short circuit. <P>SOLUTION: The electrode for lithium ion secondary battery includes a collector, and a negative-electrode active material layer formed on a surface of the collector and containing a negative-electrode active material. Lithium is likely to be earlier absorbed during charging in the negative-electrode active material layer, toward the collector. The negative-electrode active material layer is formed of two or more layers. A reaction potential of the negative-electrode active material contained in each layer to lithium metal is increased toward a layer on the side of the collector, in a thickness direction of the negative-electrode active material layer.
