<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire pressure detection device capable of alarming in a shorter time from the occurrence of an abnormality even if tire pressure slowly lowered. <P>SOLUTION: In the tire pressure detection device, transmitters 2a to 2d monitor the tire pressure, and when the tire pressure is lowered, the transmitters transmit abnormality information to a control device 4 in a vehicle body 8 side. The transmitters 2a to 2d monitor the tire pressure in a sampling period shorter than a regular transmission period. Consequently, compared with a conventional system of determining an abnormality in tire pressure by a receiver in a vehicle body side, the tire pressure can be monitored in a shorter period. As the tire pressure is monitored in a shorter sampling period, when the tire pressure is lowered rapidly or slowly, the abnormality can be quickly transmitted to the control device 4, and further transmitted to a driver through a warning display 6. Therefore, even if the tire pressure slowly is lowered, a warning can be given in a shorter time after the occurrence of the abnormality. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
