<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass antenna for a side glass capable of obtaining a high reception gain in the whole region of a desired frequency band of an FM broadcast wave. <P>SOLUTION: A glass antenna arranged and provided to a side glass for a vehicle comprises: a power feeding part arranged and provided to a side part; a main element connected to the power feeding part; and a U-shaped element connected to an intermediate part of the main element. When an FM broadcast wave received by the antenna is divided into two frequency bands at the center frequency of a frequency band of the FM broadcast wave, and when a wavelength at the center frequency of a lower frequency band is defined as λ, a wavelength at the center frequency of a higher frequency band is defined as λ', and a wavelength shortening ratio of the side glass is defined as α, any one of a length of the main element and a length from the power feeding part to an open end of the U-shaped element is α×λ×3/4, and the other length is α×λ'×3/4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
