<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio terminal device and a communication control method, enabling efficient communication by avoiding inconvenience associated with the switching of a communication system. <P>SOLUTION: A mobile telephone 1 includes: a communication switchover unit 31 for communication by selectively switching between an LTE communication system and a CDMA communication system supporting a function not supported by the LTE communication system; and when predetermined call origination is requested in a state that position registration is made in the LTE communication system, a determination unit 32 for determining whether or not the call origination is relative to a predetermined communication class. When the call origination is determined to be not relative to the predetermined communication class, the communication switchover unit 31 terminates communication in accordance with the call origination in the CDMA communication system, switches the position registration target preferentially to the LTE communication system, whereas when the call origination is determined to be relative to the predetermined communication class, the communication switchover unit 31 continues the position registration in the CDMA communication system, even after the communication in accordance with the call origination is terminated in the CDMA communication system. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
