<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce deterioration of a signal quality and inhibits increase in chip area. <P>SOLUTION: A solid-state image pickup device according to one embodiment of the present invention is a solid-state image pickup device to which a first substrate and a second substrate, respectively having circuit elements composing each pixel arranged thereon, are electrically connected. The pixel includes: a photoelectric conversion element arranged on the first substrate; an amplifier circuit amplifying a signal generated by the photoelectric conversion element to output the amplified signal; a signal storage circuit arranged on the second substrate for storing the amplified signal output from the amplifier circuit; and an output circuit outputting the amplified signal stored in the signal storage circuit from the pixel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
