<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing member capable of, when using a card medium such as a contactless IC card, improving the convenience of the card medium by considering the characteristics of the card medium so that it can be used properly. <P>SOLUTION: A fixing member for fixing a card medium is arranged on a lateral face of a mobile terminal. The fixing member holds the card medium in a state where information is prevented from being read out due to the generation of electromagnetism in an antenna coil provided in the card medium. Further, the fixing member holds the card medium in a state where the information can be read out from the card medium by generating electromagnetism in the antenna coil.
