<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection control device for an internal combustion engine which can properly protect a component receiving a heat load from the internal combustion engine. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel injection control device for the internal combustion engine includes a temperature estimation means 11 for estimating a temperature of the component 127 receiving the heat load from the internal combustion engine EG, a damage degree calculation means 11 for calculating the degree of damage caused by the heat load applied to the component on the basis of the estimated temperature of the component, and a control means 11 for increasing an amount of fuel injection to the internal combustion engine when the degree of damage reaches a predetermined value or above.
