<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation-shielding coating that has strong radiation-shielding force and eliminates the need for using an oily resin. <P>SOLUTION: The radiation-shielding coating is a mixture of: powder consisting mainly of at least one of tungsten, molybdenum, and their oxides; a dispersant consisting of an amino acid having a honeycomb structure swelled by water; and a binder consisting of either of an emulsion polymerized through the evaporation of the water and a water-soluble resin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
