<p>PURPOSE: A method and a device for effectively recovering zinc powders removed from zinc-plated steel are provided to increase the recovery rate of the zinc powders in a condenser by preventing the zinc powders from becoming attached on an inner wall of a conduit. CONSTITUTION: A device for recovering zinc powders comprises an evaporation furnace, a condenser(3), and one or more retention extending units(11). Zinc galvanizing steel is placed in the evaporation furnace. The evaporation furnace heats the zinc galvanizing steel at more than evaporation temperature, and evaporates the zinc from the zinc galvanizing steel. The condenser is connected to the evaporation furnace, and collects zinc powders(24) by cooling a zinc-containing stream. The one or more retention extending units are installed inside the condenser. The retention extending units extend a retention time by extending a flowing path of the zinc-containing stream.</p> |
