<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brushless DC motor and a ventilation blower capable of controlling a generation torque with high accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: A brushless DC motor comprises: a speed detector 5 calculating a rotation speed of a motor part 3 and outputting a rotation speed feedback value ωrf; a DC bus voltage detector 6 detecting a DC voltage and outputting a DC bus voltage feedback value Vdcf; a DC bus average current detector 7 calculating an average current of a DC bus and outputting a DC bus average current feedback value Idcf; and an armature current controller 8 receiving an armature current command value Ia<SP POS="POST">*</SP>and the respective feedback values and outputting a voltage instruction value Vs to a driving circuit 2.
