<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide broadcast transmission technique which can reduce the probability of recurring transmission collisions. <P>SOLUTION: An apparatus comprises: a sequence selection module; and a plurality of emission elements. The sequence selection module selects sequences of directivity transmission patterns (702, 706), and each of the selected sequences corresponds to a period. The plurality of emission elements wirelessly transmit a broadcast with the period corresponding to the selected sequence (704, 708).
