SUPERCRITICAL WATER GASIFICATION SYSTEM FOR GASIFICATION OF BIOMASS SLURRY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress plugging of a conduit in high level in a supercritical water gasification system obtaining combustible gas by treating biomass slurry in supercritical water.

SOLUTION: The supercritical water gasification system 100 to obtain combustible gas by treating biomass slurry in which organic substance and inorganic solid are suspended, in supercritical water, is characterized by arranging a separator to separate the inorganic solid (a sedimentation separator 105) at a position at which the viscosity coefficient of the biomass slurry in a conduit 113 flowing the biomass slurry decreases to a value suitable for separation of the inorganic solid. The arranged position of the separator is a position at which the slurry is heated such that the viscosity coefficient of the biomass slurry equals to that of water, specifically, the position locates between a second heat exchanger 104 and a first hot water treating device 106.
