<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus that accurately measures a time period T0 required for line connection in performing IPFAX communication, and optimizes timing for sending out a T.38 CNG command. <P>SOLUTION: An AT command of a dial request is converted into an SIP command of a session establishment request, and is transmitted.
