<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a hot dip metal coated steel strip that enables thinning putting. <P>SOLUTION: In the method of manufacturing a hot dip metal coated steel strip in which steel strip is continuously soaked/plated in a plating bath in a hot dip metal plating bath tank, then is drawn up from the plating bath, and an adhered amount of a molten metal of a surface of the steel strip is regulated by jet gas jetted from a wiping nozzle; an assistance slit nozzle is disposed at an upper side of the wiping nozzle, a counter flow to a flow of a wiping gas that rises accompanying the steel strip is supplied, a temperature of a nozzle jet mouth of the wiping gas is made higher than a melting point of the molten metal, and a gas temperature at a nozzle jet mouth of the assistance slit nozzle is made lower by at least 100°C than a melting point of the molten metal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
