<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant composition that can achieve abrasion resistance and seizure resistance, and can improve fatigue life, in a high level over a long period of time, even if being degraded in viscosity and that can strike a balance between low energy consumption and durability in a drive transmission apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The lubricant composition for drive transmission apparatus comprises: a lubricant base oil that contains 90 mass% or more of saturated component and has a viscosity index of 110 or larger and an iodine value of 2.5 or lower, wherein a cyclic saturated component accounts for 1.5 to 20 mass% of the saturated component, and a bi- or more cyclic saturated component accounts for 2.6 mass% or larger of the saturated component; a poly(meth)acrylate-based viscosity index improver; and a phosphorus-containing compound. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
