<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of improving the accuracy of color shift correction by reducing prediction errors of a color shifting amount using an in-machine temperature. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device, which transfers images with different colors to an intermediate transfer body by a plurality of image forming units, and transfers the images transferred to the intermediate transfer body to recording paper, includes: a temperature sensor; a color shift table showing correspondence between an in-machine temperature and a color shifting amount; and color shifting amount prediction means for calculating the prediction value of a color shifting amount. When the in-machine temperature detected by the temperature sensor reaches a predetermined value, the color shifting amount is calculated, and the color shift table is updated by using the calculated color shifting amount and the in-machine temperature. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
