<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for avoiding or curbing movement of armature coils toward a field element without projecting ends of winding portions on a side of the field element in a width direction. <P>SOLUTION: An armature magnetic core 10 is mounted in a radial gap type rotary electric machine 100, and faces a field element 40 in radial directions R relative to an axis Q. The armature magnetic core 10 includes: teeth 12 that extend along the radial directions R; and an insulator 14 that is placed on axial ends 122 in the axial direction of the teeth 12. On a side of each tooth 12 facing the field element 40, the insulator 14 projects in a width direction W of a flange portion 124 of the tooth 12 facing the field element, beyond edges 126 of the flange portion 124 in the width direction W. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
