<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling devices in a home network by a control device through a home access server. <P>SOLUTION: A method comprises: in a home access server, a step for providing a plurality of generic user control protocol pages for each functional component type defined by a home network specification; by the home access server, a step for discovering functional components modules in a home network.
