<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve train device for an engine that can effectively reduce noise produced as a result of opening of the valve. <P>SOLUTION: The valve train device 1 for an engine for moving valves 10 in a valve opening direction by bringing the bottom of one end of a rocker arm 15 inserted into a rocker arm shaft 13 into abutment against the top of a valve bridge 12 disposed between a pair of valves 10, includes: a first oil path 14 formed in the rocker arm shaft 13, and for supplying lubricating oil fed from a lubricating oil supply source to a sliding part of the rocker arm shaft 13 and the rocker arm 15; an opening 19 formed in the bottom of the end of the rocker arm 15; and a second oil path 20 formed in the rocker arm 15 by communication between the sliding part and the opening 19. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
