<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope capable of eliminating clogging of a jet nozzle with filth. <P>SOLUTION: A distal end section 15a of the endoscope includes: an air/water nozzle 33; a waterjet spout 35; an air/water pipe 38a for feeding washing water to the air/water nozzle 33; a waterjet pipe 39a for feeding a liquid to the waterjet spout 35; a coupling pipe 40 for coupling the air/water pipe 38 with the waterjet pipe 39a; a backflow valve 41 disposed inside the coupling pipe 40; and a liquid shutoff valve 45. When the air/water nozzle 33 is clogged with filth, the liquid shutoff valve 45 is put on a liquid shutoff position to shut off the liquid feed to the waterjet spout 35, while the liquid is fed to the air/water pipe 38a and the waterjet pipe 39a so that the liquid is fed into the air/water nozzle 33. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
