摘要 To provide a novel technique by which the redox activity of a nucleic acid molecule can be easily evaluated. An evaluation method of the present invention is characterized by comprising: a detection step of electrochemically detecting a redox reaction to a substrate, said redox reaction being catalyzed by a nucleic acid molecule to be evaluated, with use of a device that electrochemically detects a redox reaction; and an evaluation step of evaluating the redox activity of the nucleic acid molecule from the detection results of the redox reaction. A device which comprises a substrate that is provided with a detection unit having an electrode system is used as the above-mentioned device, and the nucleic acid molecule to be evaluated is disposed on the substrate. In the present invention, it is preferable that a plurality of kinds of nucleic acid molecules to be evaluated are disposed on the substrate and the plurality of kinds of nucleic acid molecules are evaluated by a single device.
