METHOD FOR DETERMINING THE SHAPE OF A CARYOPSIS (A SEED) IN CEREALS AND GRAIN LEGUMES

A method for determining the shape of a caryopsis (a seed) in cereals and grain legumes such that determination of the linear sizes of the caryopsis. The width, thickness and length of the caryopsis are measured. According to the results of the measurements, shape thereof is determined for identifying varieties of agricultural crops.
