The present invention belongs to the semiconductor and microelectronics industry, and at the same time is also suitable for the field of chip storage devices, and relates to an intelligent tray and is mainly used to place, store and transport various encapsulated chips and silicon wafers. The body of the tray has a readable and writable storage unit therein, which storage unit is written with application parameters related to the tray and reads out same for use. As the storage unit inside the tray provided by the present invention contains related application parameter information about the tray, there is no need of manual detection one by one, benefitting automatic production and at the same time the invention can also improve the production efficiency and shorten the production cycle, thus having great application potential.
