PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an upper burner of a grill for a gas cooker with a wider cooking region by reducing the flame spread time while controlling the amount of heat at a grill part, thereby enabling both grill cooking and oven cooking. SOLUTION: In a gas cooker 10, an upper burner 50 of a grill for a gas cooker includes a grill part 20 formed in the body and a flame hole 5 formed in the bottom surface, through which a combustion gas to heat the grill part 20 is jetted by operating a regulating knob 11. The upper burner is provided on the top part of the cookstove body, and includes a central combustion part 60 having a central flow passage 61 and a peripheral combustion part 70 having a peripheral flow passage 71 separately, and separate venturi tubes 62 and 72 arranged in each combustion part.
