<p>Device for propelling a craft comprising an oar (2) and a shaft (4), each pivoting on a near-vertical pin (71, 72) and connected by an articulated link (5), the assembly known as a stroke reverser being able to transmit the movement from the shaft (4) to the blade (3) of the oar (2) in the same direction; at least one of the ends of the oar (2) and of the shaft (4) which ends are connected by the link (5) has at least two orifices (9 and 10) each able to accept the corresponding pivot pin (7i) thus changing the ratios of the forces on the one side applied to the handle (41) of the shaft (4) and, on the other side, transmitted to the blade (3) of the oar (2).</p> |
