FIELD: engines and pumps.SUBSTANCE: rotary engine (1) includes cylinder housing (22), cylinder (26), cylinder head (27), valve block (78), piston (50), at least two crankshafts (70, 80), piston-rods (48, 49), shell base (32), gearwheels (10, 12), gear ring (88) and output shaft (30). Cylinder (26) is installed in housing (22) with possibility of axial rotation. Head (27) of cylinder is attached to end of cylinder (26) and can be rotated together with it. Valve block (78) is attached to housing (22) and combined with head (27) of cylinder. Crankshafts (70, 80) are rotated in opposite directions. Base (32) of shell of gearwheels is attached to cylinder (26). Gearwheels (10, 12) are rigidly attached to each crankshaft (70, 80). Gear ring (88) is attached to housing (22) and interacts with each of gearwheels (10, 12).
