<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a block (2) of two adjacent seats (3) individually convertible to a chair configuration and a horizontal flat bed configuration. <P>SOLUTION: In the block, two seats (3) are arranged and directed substantially in the same direction, and each longitudinal axis (34) of the seat (3) of a bed configuration is converged to one point where upper portions having a seat backrest (32) and a headrest (36) are located in the rear part with a distance to be overlapped in the head area (46) of the block. The head plane (35) of the sheet of the block is vertically shifted, and extended by foot placing surfaces (42) of foot areas (41) disposed in side pillars (4) arranged at both sides of the head area (46) in the area of the rear shell (21) of the block located in the front.
