摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing apparatus of a negative electrode for lithium secondary battery superior in productivity, which has a pressure differential structure within a single vacuum container for stably and continuously forming an active material layer and depositing lithium on a base strip being transported, and to provide a manufacturing method thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing apparatus for lithium secondary battery, which forms a negative electrode on the surface of a base strip in a vacuum condition, has a pressure differential structure including an active material forming area 10 and a lithium depositing area 50 separated from each other by a slit formed therebetween. The manufacturing apparatus includes: a conveyance mechanism that transports a base 4; active material forming means for forming an active material layer on the surface of the base held by the conveyance mechanism within a vapor depositing zone 5; lithium depositing means for depositing lithium within a lithium depositing zone 55; and a vacuum container 1 having a gas nozzle 22 for oxidizing the active material layer and a gas nozzle 62 for controlling the pressure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
