WATER PIGMENT DISPERSION FOR INKJET RECORDING, WATER BASED INK FOR INKJET RECORDING AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING WATER PIGMENT DISPERSION FOR INKJET RECORDING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide water based ink for inkjet recording which uses carbon black in which the number of coarse particles in a water pigment dispersion or the water based ink for inkjet recording is remarkably reduced and the discharge stability of the water based inke for inkjet recording is improved and to provide the water pigment dispersion for inkjet recording.

SOLUTION: The water pigment dispersion for inkjet is prepared by mixing and stirring a pigment dispersion containing carbon black and a copolymer having an anion group and solid at normal temperature with a water based medium, wherein the ash content in the carbon black is ≤1.0 mass% and the ratio A/B of DBP oil absorption A (ml/100g) to BET specific surface area B (m2/g) is ≤0.75.
