PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an electronic book which is protected with meta data or the like to be resold.

SOLUTION: A secondhand article selling server informs a brand-new article selling server that a brand-new electronic book is purchased as a secondhand electronic book. The brand-new article selling server when receiving the notice from the secondhand article selling server invalidates a license key corresponding to the brand-new electronic book, and informs the secondhand article setting server of the fact that the invalidity has been performed. Then the secondhand article selling server sells the secondhand electronic book on condition that the brand-new article selling server invalidates the license key.
