<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid welding method for a T-joint using laser beam welding and arc welding, whereby a deep weld penetration is formed on the adhesive surface of the rib and flange of the T-joint and a welded joint having a stable weld penetration shape is obtained by avoiding the energy consumption amount from increasing and the welding efficiency from declining. <P>SOLUTION: The hybrid welding method uses laser beam welding and arc welding, and welds a T-joint in which a rib that is a material to be welded orthogonally comes into contact with the surface of a flange that is another material to be welded, wherein the flange and the rib which constitute the T-joint are welded by forming: a groove A on the side surface of the rib at the contact section of the rib and the flange which constitute the T-joint; a flat section on the bottom of the groove formed on the contact section of the rib and the flange; and welding beads of a welding metal on the groove by means of hybrid welding which uses both arc welding and laser welding for irradiating the groove formed with the flat section with laser beams. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
