<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PAS (polyarylene sulfide) resin excellent in a thermal property and improved in brightness. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a polyarylene sulfide resin, saying in detail, the polyarylene sulfide resin produced by a method for producing a polyarylene sulfide resin including: (a) a step of fusion-mixing a composition containing solid sulfur, an aryl iodide compound and a polymerization inhibitor, (b) a step of polymerization-reacting a fused mixture in the step (a) for 1-30 hours, while changing a reaction condition from an initial reaction condition of 180-250°C of temperature and 50-450 Torr (6.7-60.0 kPa) to a final reaction condition of 270-350°C of temperature and 0.001-20 Torr (0.0013-2.7 kPa), and (c) a step of heating a reaction mixture in the step (b) at 270-350°C of temperature for 1-25 hours. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
