<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a heat transfer pipe of a heat exchanger from being damaged when equipment in an outdoor unit body has a maintenance or replacement. <P>SOLUTION: An air conditioner outdoor unit 2 includes: the outdoor unit body 22 having a square planar shape; the heat exchanger 13 provided along the side surface of the outdoor unit body 22; and a fan 23 provided in the upper part of the outdoor unit body 22, and blowing upward the air in the outdoor unit body 22. Between one side end 13a and the other end 13b, adjacent to the heat exchanger 13, an opening 20 is formed to enable communication between the inside and outside of the outdoor unit body 22, and at least in either one of the side ends 13a and 13b positioned in the peripheral edges of the opening 20, a cover member 21 covering the heat transfer pipe 48a protruded from the side end is provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
