PEDESTRIAN TERMINAL DEVICE, COMPUTER PROGRAM, AND RADIO COMMUNICATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively use a band for radio communication.

SOLUTION: A pedestrian terminal device 1 is able to obtain positional information indicating a current location. The pedestrian terminal device 1 includes a communication unit 6 which can wirelessly transmit the positional information, and receives the positional information indicating the location of an on-vehicle device 8 transmitted by another radio communication device which is the on-vehicle device 8 in this case. An information acquisition unit 22 of the pedestrian terminal device 1 acquires relative positional information on a relative position of the on-vehicle device 8 to its own device on the basis of the positional information of the on-vehicle device 8 and the positional information of its own device. A communication control unit 21 of the pedestrian terminal device 1 performs control such as control of continuation, interruption, or an increase or a decrease in a transmission frequency of radio transmission by the communication unit 6 on the basis of the relative positional information acquired by the information acquisition unit 22.
