<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image pickup lens with satisfactorily corrected aberration while having a wide angle of field. <P>SOLUTION: The image pickup lens is configured by arraying in turn, from an object side, a first lens L1 whose concave surface faces to an image plane side, a positive second lens L2 having a meniscus shape whose concave surface faces to the object side, a third lens L3 having a biconvex shape, and a negative fourth lens L4 having a meniscus shape whose convex surface faces to the object side.
