<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lead-acid battery in which sulfation is suppressed to improve life performance when used in an environment where a partial state of charge is easily caused, and which is excellent in life performance even used in an environment where an overcharge state is easily caused. <P>SOLUTION: A lead-acid battery includes a positive electrode plate, a negative electrode plate and an electrolyte. The electrolyte contains Mg ions, Al ions and Li ions at concentrations of 0.5 mmol/L or more and 3 mmol/L or less, 0.02 mol/L or more and 0.3 mol/L or less and 0.02 mol/L or more and 0.3 mol/L or less, respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
