<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving image data distribution system etc. capable of distributing proper moving image data by user's simple work from many pieces of moving image data. <P>SOLUTION: In a moving image data distribution system 1, a distribution server 9 distributes moving image data to a consumer apparatus 11. A distribution control part 7 selects one or more pieces of moving image data from moving image data included in a genre designated by the user of the consumer apparatus 11. In particular, the user of the consumer apparatus 11 contributes the moving image data by a moving image generation part 13.
