<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust detector with which damage on electrical equipment can be minimized by early detecting dust accumulated on the equipment. <P>SOLUTION: A dust detector 10 is attached to electrical equipment 12. First and second electrodes 13 and 14, in an exposed state arranged in a pair are placed on the circuit board of the electrical equipment 10 at a small interval. Resistance R between the first and second electrodes 13 and 14 is monitored by monitoring means 15, and an alarm is output when the value of the resistance R becomes a specific value or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
