Another implementation accesses a disparity value for a particular location in a picture, the picture having a particular resolution, and the disparity value indicating disparity with respect to another resolution that is different from the particular resolution and that is based on multiple resolutions. A further implementation modifies the accessed disparity value to produce a modified disparity value indicating disparity with respect to the particular resolution.
