CHANNEL QUALITY INFORMATION FEEDBACK METHOD IN MULTIPLE-INPUT MULTIPLE-OUTPUT SYSTEM, DATA TRANSMISSION METHOD, USER EQUIPMENT, AND BASE STATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for transmitting a CQI in a multiple antenna system.

SOLUTION: A channel quality information feedback method is a method for a user equipment to feed back channel quality information (CQI) to a base station in a multiple-input multiple-output system. Rank information indicating the maximum number of transmittable streams is transmitted to the base station in a first transmission cycle. A first CQI to a first code word and a second CQI to a second code word are transmitted to the base station in a second transmission cycle. The first transmission cycle is longer than the second transmission cycle. In the case that a channel quality of a CQI sub-band in all band widths is a reference value or less, a specific index value defined for indicating transmission disabled state of the corresponding code word among a plurality of index values defined for indicating a coding rate and a modulation degree is transmitted to the base station as at least one of the first and second CQIs.
