<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of efficiently drying clothes while giving a user least trouble. <P>SOLUTION: An indoor unit 1 of the air conditioner includes: a blower 12 circulating indoor air; a heat exchanger 11 exchanging heat with the air circulated by the blower 12; a vertical louver 18 capable of changing the blowoff direction of air that has passed through the heat exchanger 11; and a humidity sensor 19 measuring indoor humidity. A control part 21 carries out steps of confirming the angle change of the vertical louver 18 by the user when starting operation in a clothes drying mode, performing air blowing operation, switching to dehumidifying operation by changing the angle of the vertical louver 18 to shift the air blowing direction upward when the indoor humidity reaches a first predetermined humidity, continuing the dehumidifying operation until the lapse of the first predetermined time after the indoor humidity is lowered to a second predetermined humidity, and then terminating the operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
