<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To preferentially call a health-care professional in charge who recognizes the detailed situation of a patient having made a call among a plurality of health-care professionals in charge of the patient. <P>SOLUTION: A radio appliance 5 and a portable communication terminal 20 are given to a health-care professional, and a reader 6 for reading radio appliance identification information from radio appliances 5 in a readable range and a nurse call extension unit 1 are set in the vicinity of a bed of the patient.
