<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To bend end parts finely while coping with speeding-up of processing. <P>SOLUTION: The end bending device 10 is a device for bending the end parts of a pillow package XA1. The end bending device 10 includes: a finger conveyor 15 for conveyance that conveys the pillow package XA1 while turning the end parts toward the sides; paired guide pieces 44 that are located above the end parts of the pillow package XA1 at the sides of the pillow package XA1 conveyed by the finger conveyor 15 for conveyance, and arranged parallel to a conveying direction; and end pressing members 42 that travel in the conveying direction together with the pillow package XA1 at the outsides in the width direction of the paired guide pieces 44, and rise above the lower edges of the guide pieces 44 while pressing the end parts from the lower sides of the end parts of the pillow package, and performs bending action to bend the end parts with the lower edges of the guide pieces 44 as fulcrums. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
