<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plug capable of outputting a contact signal representing electrical contact state between the plug and a jack. <P>SOLUTION: A plug PA comprises: an insertion part 1 having an electrode portion 11 and a contact signal generating section 13A; and a main body section 2. The contact signal generating section 13A comprises: an opening 15c formed in a wall; a ball 16c stored within the space so that a part thereof is exposed from the opening 15c; and a micro switch 14 which is depressed by a movement of the ball 16c. The ball 16c is formed in a size that, when the plug is pulled out from a jack 30, the ball 16c separates from the micro switch 14 and a part thereof is exposed from the opening 15c; and when the plug is inserted into the jack 30, the ball 16c is depressed by a wall 31b of an insertion hole 31 of the jack 30 to depress the micro switch 14. The micro switch 14 is disposed within the space while being pressed by a pressing member, and when pressed by the ball 16c against the pressing member, outputs a contact signal representing an establishment of conductivity with the jack 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
