<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mass spectrometer device with high detection sensitivity, achieved by efficiently vaporizing a sprayed sample solution to generate charged microdroplets to improve ionization efficiency of sample, and reducing large droplets with high ionic strength. <P>SOLUTION: A liquid chromatography mass spectrometer device comprises: liquid chromatographic separation means which separates a sample solution into the respective components thereof; a sample spraying unit which sprays, as droplets, the sample solution separated and eluted by the liquid chromatographic separation means; ion generation means which generates ions by charging the droplets (charged droplet ); a mass spectrometer unit which introduces the ions to perform mass separation; and a desolvation unit which removes the solvent contained in the charged droplets. The desolvation unit of the present invention comprises: a desolvation flow chamber through which the charged droplets flow; heating means which heats the desolvation flow chamber; and a helical droplet conduit provided in the desolvation flow chamber. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
