<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to effectively utilize a band of a broadcasting signal for a broadcasting content such as a broadcasting program, in transmitting an AIT to a receiver. <P>SOLUTION: A receiver comprises: a reception part receiving a broadcasting signal including location information of an application information table; an acquisition part acquiring the location information from the received broadcasting signal; a download part downloading the application information table from a server designated by the acquired location information; and an application execution control part controlling execution of an application according to the downloaded application information table. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
