<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-dimensional map creation device that automatically extracts a window area of a building on the basis of a bird's-eye image in which all buildings including high-rise buildings can be projected, and its window area detection device. <P>SOLUTION: The window area detection device includes a window area candidate detection part 104 which detects a plurality of window area candidates having similar image feature quantities and periodically detected from a bird's-eye image of a building of interest; a clustering part 105 which classifies the plurality of window area candidates into a plurality of clusters on the basis of their feature quantities and position information; a window pattern classification part 107 which classifies a window pattern of the building of interest on the basis of results of the clustering; a disappearing point calculation part 107 which calculates disappearing points of the building of interest on the basis of edge information corresponding to the window pattern; a frontal-viewing part 109 which converts the bird's-eye image of the building of interest into an image of frontal view on the basis of calculation results of the disappearing points; and a missing window complementing part 110 which complements the frontal-view bird's-eye image of the building of interest with a missing window according to the window pattern. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
