<p>This display device is provided with: a chassis (22) having a bottom plate, the bottom plate having a primary plate (22a1) and a radiator (22a2) that adjoins the primary plate (22a1) and has a greater thermal conductivity than the primary plate (22a1); an LED light source (28) disposed at the obverse side of the bottom plate; a liquid crystal panel that is disposed at the obverse side of the bottom plate in a manner so as to be superimposed over the primary plate (22a1) in comparison to the radiator (22a2) and that performs display using light from the LED light source (28); and a control board (36) that is disposed over the radiator (22a2) at the reverse side of the bottom plate, and that controls the driving of the liquid crystal panel. Since the heat generated from the control board (36) is effectively radiated over the radiator (22a2), it is possible by means of a simple configuration to prevent/suppress the liquid crystal panel from reaching a high temperature.</p> |
